As some of you may know, Matt and I were wed at the Codman Estate in 2011. Amanda and Jaco's Wedding was the first time we've returned to our favorite venue for one of our clients weddings, so there was already a heightened sense of emotion on our end when going into Amanda and Jaco's wedding. Naturally, we felt such affinity to Codman that we knew it would be a stellar backdrop for photos, but the space is so familiar to us that we weren't sure how we'd capture it in a new light. Just like every wedding, I arrived with an open heart ready to document the day as it set out. Thanks to the power of the internet, we had never met Amanda and Jaco in person until their wedding day, so I wasn't sure what to expect. You guys. There could not be two more beautiful, loving, genuine souls as Amanda and Jaco. Their warm spirits and charismatic personalities were the icing on a very pretty cake. Shooting this wedding was a dream for me. From the absolutely perfect weather and stunning scenery (I still loose my breath every time I'm in the Italian Garden at Codman) to the jovial celebration surrounding their new chapter in life, this wedding was amazing.
