Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of each other.

 Our COVID-19 Preparedness Plan follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) guidelines, federal OSHA standards related to COVID-19 and Executive Order 20-48, and addresses:

hygiene and respiratory etiquette;

prompt identification and isolation of sick persons;

management and supervision necessary to ensure effective implementation of the plan.

Screening and policies for employees exhibiting signs and symptoms of COVID-19

 As the business owners, Kendra and Matthew will self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. The following policies and procedures are being implemented to assess their health status prior to entering a session.

Kendra and Matthew will take their temperature prior to every session and assess her health for any Covid-19 related symptoms including, persistent cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. Should they have any of these symptoms, they will immediately alert any clients booked in the upcoming two weeks, re-book the session and self-isolate for the current required duration via the CDC and MDH. Kendra and Matthew Henseler, owners of Summer Street Photography LLC will inform clients if they have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 via email. Kendra and Matthew will then follow the requirements of the CDC and MDH on self-isolation and exposure measures.

 Handwashing
 Basic infection prevention measures are being implemented on an ongoing basis including prior to sessions. Kendra and Matthew will wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently throughout the day, and prior and after photo sessions. All clients will be required to wash or sanitize their hands prior to or immediately upon arriving at a session.

 Summer Street Photography, LLC will carry hand sanitizer for all clients to use if they do not have one with at least 60% alcohol with them and they are unable to wash hands upon arrival.

 Respiratory etiquette:  Cover your cough or sneeze

 Kendra and Matthew, along with all clients, are being instructed to cover their mouth and nose with their sleeve or a tissue when coughing or sneezing and to avoid touching their face, in particular their mouth, nose and eyes, with their hands. They should dispose of tissues in provided trash receptacles and wash or sanitize their hands immediately afterward.

 Social distancing

 Social distancing of six feet will be implemented and maintained between Kendra and Matthew and their clients through the following engineering and administrative controls:  Kendra and Matthew will maintain a distance of 6 feet between clients and themselves on shoots. Kendra and Matthew will use longer lenses to ensure they can still capture their style while keeping a farther distance than normal. Kendra and Matthew will wear a face mask as long as it is recommended by the CDC. Kendra and Matthew will not physically touch or come into contact with any clients including babies. This will require parents to dress, wrap and adjust their children during sessions and make their own adjustments to poses based on Kendra and Matthew’s verbal instruction and feedback.

 Cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation

 Regular cleaning practices are being implemented, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of equipment. Kendra and Matthew will clean and disinfect their equipment before and after each session.

Additional communication and training will be ongoing via email and provided to all clients who did not receive the initial training.
